Job summary

Grassland Dairy Products, a leading dairy producer with facilities across Wisconsin, seeks operators for the second shift to support production and quality control.

You will follow GMP and HACCP guidelines, verify product specs, and help maintain equipment and records for compliant production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year internal or external production experience preferred.
• HACCP certification required.
• A Pasteurizer License is required.
• Ability to read and understand SOPs to maintain compliance.
• Understand daily production needs and safety requirements.
• Knowledge of Preventative Controls responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Follow applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices.
• Verify quality control items such as weights, fats, pH, ingredients.
• Ensure proper temperature/cooling for processing.
• CIP all equipment throughout the department.
• Maintain proper documentation in all records formats.
• Operate process room equipment efficiently to meet production needs.
• Perform minor maintenance and equipment adjustments.
• Relief operation of the margarine system as needed.
• Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the plant.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices.
• Verify quality control items such as: (weights, fats, pH, ingredients, etc.)
• Understand and ensure proper temperature/cooling for processing.
• C.I.P. all equipment throughout the department.
• Maintain proper documentation in all record keeping formats.
• Operate all process room equipment at an efficient level to fulfill production needs.
• Responsible for minor maintenance and equipment adjustments.
• Relief operation of the margarine system as needed.
• Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the plant as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Ability to read and comprehend standard operating procedures and company guidelines in order to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Able to understand daily production needs.
• Demonstrate the Qualified Individual's responsibilities for Preventative Controls

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• One year internal or equivalent external experience preferred.
• Must obtain HACCP certification.
• Must obtain a Pasteurizer License.

Hours/ Schedule: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Monday through Friday & 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM every 3rd Saturday
