Job summary

CPS, Inc. seeks a Process / PSM Engineer to own site mechanical integrity and process safety programs at our Charleston, WV facility. You will lead PHAs, PSSRs, and HAZOPs while fostering a strong safety culture in a PSM-regulated environment.

The role requires a BS in Chemical, Mechanical, or Engineering with 3+ years of related experience and a solid understanding of PSM elements. Prior work in a regulated facility is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Process or Production Engineer in a chemical or related plant.
• Basic understanding of all elements of PSM and prior experience in a PSM-regulated facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead PHAs, PSSRs, and HAZOPs at the site.

Job description

The Process / PSM Engineer will have ownership over the site mechanical integrity and process safety programs. This engineer will focus on the mechanical integrity elements of PSM. They will be responsible for helping to foster a strong safety culture at the site adhering to PSM regulations. This person will lead PHAs, PSSRs, HAZOPs among other responsibilities as the site Process / PSM Engineer.

Requirements

BS CHE,ME, or ENG or maybe others with at least (2) 3+ years of experience as Process or Production Engineer in a chemical or related plant. Should have basic understanding of all elements of PSM and have previously worked in a PSM regulated facility.
