Job summary

The Process Project Engineer at MBA Energy & Industrial supports the Process Division in planning, coordination, and execution of oil & gas and industrial projects. This role emphasizes accurate documentation and efficient procurement, scheduling, and quality control across the project lifecycle.

We seek a highly organized, proactive professional with solid communication skills who can collaborate across disciplines, track progress, and help drive project success from kickoff to closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related).
• 1–3 years of experience supporting industrial or oil & gas construction projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication with collaboration across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination, tracking, and documentation.
• Procure and coordinate project materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Analyze and acquire subcontractor proposals and material quotes to support bid and execution phases.
• Process and track submittals, schedules, RFI responses, and project correspondence.
• Review and negotiate proposal pricing from subcontractors and material vendors.
• Clarify subcontractor scope of work and assist with cost estimate preparation.
• Maintain weekly project reports, photos, and progress documentation.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate progress, quality, and safety adherence.
• Review design drawings and coordinate with the design team for constructability and compliance.
• Support project meetings with notes and action items.
• Maintain project logs and submittal registers.
