Job summary
Bakelite is seeking a Process Project Engineer to define, plan, lead and execute key process and capital projects at multiple sites in the region. You will collaborate with site personnel and technical resources to deliver robust engineering solutions and optimize operations, leveraging data analysis and hands-on troubleshooting.
Ideal candidates hold a BS in Chemical Engineering with 5+ years of process/zero or capital project experience, strong knowledge of safety standards, and proficiency
Qualifications
- BS in Chemical Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years in Chemical Process Industries as process or project engineer
- Strong knowledge of chemical process plant design/operation incl. flammable liquids, gases, dust, toxic/reactive materials, relief systems and instrumented safety
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and with MS tools like SharePoint
Responsibilities
- Define, plan, lead and execute key non-capital and capital projects.
- Collaborate with site personnel and technical resources to deliver process and project engineering services.
- Analyze process operating data, troubleshoot hands-on, and interact with operations, maintenance, engineering, or R&D.
