Bakelite is seeking a Process Project Engineer to define, plan, lead, and execute key process and capital assignments. You will collaborate with site personnel and technical resources to deliver engineering services and analyze process data for improvements.

The role requires a BS in Chemical Engineering with 5+ years in the Chemical Process Industry, familiarity with SAP ERP, Aveva PI, and process simulation tools, plus strong communication skills. Travel 35-40% is expected.

Qualifications

BS in Chemical Engineering with 5+ years in Chemical Process Industries as process or project engineer.
Strong knowledge of chemical process plant design and operation including safety systems.
Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
Proficiency with Microsoft tools, databases and SharePoint.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Define, plan, lead and execute key non-capital and capital assignments.
Collaborate with site personnel and technical resources to provide process and project engineering services.
Provide insights from analysis of process data, troubleshooting, and interaction with operations, maintenance, engineering or R&D.
