We are seeking a Process & Project Engineer to support the Juneau facility’s initiatives in the areas of Engineering and Process Improvement.In this key role, you'll be actively involved in the manufacturing process, ensuring production runs smoothly and identifying areas for process improvements. You'll also use yourengineering knowledge and project management skills to coordinate, lead, and manage capital projects for the Juneau facility.

What you’ll do:

• Use hands on investigation methods and root cause analysis to prevent downtime and troubleshoot issues with operations, maintenance, and engineering team members.
• Use data to recommend, evaluate, and implement new engineering projects, protocols, and parameters to improve production throughput.
• Bid projects and review engineering information to ensure alignment with project objectives cross-functionally. Track and manage project schedules while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Lead and manage all phases of capital projects, including scope work, development, engineering, implementation, and project management.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Food Processing Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience with capital projects, project management and process manufacturing is preferred
• Experience in food industry and/or spray drying preferred
• Strong communication skills with peers, management, plant employees, and contractors.
• Ability to manage numerous projects or assignments and prioritize work.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands on, logical, self-starter mindset.
