Hudbay Minerals Inc. seeks a Process Plant Lead (Mechanical) to provide technical leadership for the copper world process plant. You will oversee design, procurement, construction support, and commissioning to meet safety, operability, and cost targets.
You will partner with Engineering, Construction, Operations, Procurement, and Commissioning teams to ensure reliable, maintainable facilities and alignment with project objectives and owner standards.

The Process Plant Lead (Mechanical) provides technical leadership and owner oversight for engineering associated with the Copper World Process Plant. The role is responsible for ensuring the design, procurement, construction support, and commissioning activities performed by the EP and CM contractor and equipment vendors meet project objectives for safety, operability, maintainability, reliability, quality, schedule, and cost.
As part of the Owner's Team, the Process Plant Lead serves as the primary engineering authority for the concentrator and associated process facilities while working closely with Engineering, Construction, Operations, Project Controls, Procurement, and Commissioning.
