Job description

We are looking for a skilled Process Piping Designer to join our team in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop engineering drawings, details, and isometrics (AutoCAD/Revit) based on process P&IDs, general arrangements (GAs), piping specifications, and equipment drawings.
  2. Conduct site surveys to document existing conditions and identify utility connection points.
  3. Provide construction administration support and perform fieldwork as needed.
  4. Coordinate designs with other disciplines and vendors to ensure project alignment.
  5. Apply knowledge of cleanroom protocols and industry regulations in system design.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 10 years of experience in the AEC industry, specializing in Process, Mechanical, or Plumbing piping systems.
  2. Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, and Revit, along with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  3. Experience designing mechanical, process, and plumbing systems, including clean utilities, process exhaust, PCW, UPW, specialty gas/chemical systems, and specialty drains.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.

Competencies:
• Piping design with a focus on Process or Mechanical, or plumbing systems.
