Job summary

ONEOK is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to provide technical leadership in optimization, troubleshooting, and project support for natural gas gathering and processing facilities. The role focuses on process modeling, design support, and economic evaluations to improve asset performance and reliability.

You will travel ~25% to processing facilities, collaborate with Operations, Commercial, and Engineering teams, and contribute to capital and operating expenditures with robust technical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; BS Chemical Engineering preferred.
• Seven+ years in engineering, operations or project management.
• Experience with hydrocarbon processing facilities design, operation and maintenance.
• Experience with process modeling software (ProMax preferred).

Responsibilities

• Optimize plant processes with Operations to adjust and improve performance.
• Troubleshoot operational problems and determine causes and solutions.
• Develop and apply process models to support commercial requests, troubleshooting and optimization.
• Maintain, update, and calibrate process models for accurate representations.
• Provide preliminary process design specifications for equipment and instrumentation; coordinate with manufacturers.
• Provide ongoing process engineering support for plant growth and technical projects.
• Coordinate field studies and implement improvements.
• Support process safety management including MOC, overpressure protection, hazard identification.
