Job summary

ONEOK, Inc. in Oklahoma is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize gas gathering and processing facilities across Calumet, OKC, Yukon. You will lead process modeling, troubleshoot operations, and support OpEx/CapEx projects.

Requires a BS in Engineering (Chemical preferred) with 7+ years in hydrocarbon processing, ProMax experience, and vendor software knowledge. Strong communication with Operations and ~25% travel are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; BS Chemical Engineering preferred.
7+ years of experience in engineering, operations and/or project management.
Experience with hydrocarbon processing and facilities design, construction, operation and maintenance.
Experience with process modeling software (ProMax preferred).
Experience using vendor equipment rating software (Ariel Performance, Fisher Valve Spec, KG Tower, etc.).
Strong communication with Operations and ability to drive operational changes.

Responsibilities

Provide process optimization with Operations to monitor and adjust plant processes.
Troubleshoot operational problems to determine causes and solutions.
Develop and apply process models to support commercial requests and optimization.
Maintain, update, and calibrate process models for accurate equipment representation.
Prepare basic process design specifications and coordinate with vendors.
Provide preliminary project scoping and development for improvements.
Support process safety management including MOC, overpressure protection, hazard IDs.
Travel to processing facilities ~25%.
