Job summary

Nutrition 101 is a Pendleton-based leader in recovering food waste and converting it into livestock feed. The Process Operator / Wastewater Technician will operate and maintain wastewater systems, monitor readings, and perform routine maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently and safely.

This hands-on role requires attention to detail, problem-solving, and the ability to respond to changing conditions while working in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems, including filtration and processing equipment
• Maintain and support operation of the Superfilter and related systems
• Perform routine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting equipment issues
• Monitor system readings (pH levels, flow rates, etc.) and respond to changes or abnormalities
• Track and record operational data accurately
• Assist with cleaning and sanitation processes (CIP) of equipment
• Support other production or plant operations as needed
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company procedures

What You'll Do

As a Process Operator / Wastewater Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining systems used to treat and process wastewater. This role plays a critical part in ensuring equipment runs efficiently and safely while maintaining quality and environmental standards.

This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, problem-solving, and the ability to monitor and respond to system performance.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems, including filtration and processing equipment
• Maintain and support operation of the Superfilter and related systems
• Perform routine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting equipment issues
• Monitor system readings (pH levels, flow rates, etc.) and respond to changes or abnormalities
• Track and record operational data accurately
• Assist with cleaning and sanitation processes (CIP) of equipment
• Support other production or plant operations as needed
