Job summary

HF Sinclair Corporation is seeking an on-site Operator to support operations at the Cheyenne Renewable Diesel Facility. Tasks include monitoring unit operations, assisting startups/shutdowns, and coordinating with contractors while following safety procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma, basic math and reading/writing skills, and a valid driver's license. The role involves physical work in dynamic refinery environments with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic reading and writing skills required.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Valid state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Observe control panels and conduct unit walk-throughs; perform routine small-bore piping repairs.
• Assist and perform unit start-ups and shutdowns.
• Coordinate work with outside contractors.
• Support turnaround maintenance events.
• Use hand tools and other specialty tools.
• Pull product samples, identify operational issues, and prepare work orders.
• Work in high elevation areas, confined spaces, and awkward positions.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform walking, climbing, lifting, and carrying as part of daily duties.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
