Job description

Process Operator I, Capsules - Night Shift

Join us as a Process Operator I, Capsules - Night Shift at MANE.

We are hiring for our night shift, 2-2-3 rotation at our Lebanon, Ohio facility. The role involves operating production equipment safely and effectively to create flavor batches that meet health and safety standards. You will collaborate with various departments including Production, Quality, Planning, Purchasing, and Sales. Key skills include analytical, communication, interpersonal, mathematical, and computer skills.

Hours: 5pm to 5am, on a 2-2-3 rotation.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain adherence to SOPs, GMP standards, food & flavor regulations (kosher), and documentation.
  • Follow safety protocols, including PPE use and engineering controls.
  • Operate production equipment to produce high-quality products efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Use computer systems to maintain process and material data.
  • Properly store ingredients and ensure proper labeling.
  • Accurate documentation of usage, lot numbers, yields, and metal detection.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and training sessions.
  • Ensure equipment and work area sanitation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Engage in environmental awareness and training as part of company commitments.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience with PLC/distributive controls preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
  • Experience in the flavor industry is a plus.
  • Computer literate.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand for 80% of a 12-hour shift.
