Job summary

Nutrien Biola, CA is seeking a production operator to control equipment, review orders, monitor blenders, and produce fertilizer batches in a fast-paced facility. This role requires safety focus and adherence to quality standards.

You will operate valves, load and unload rail cars, and work from heights. Benefits include medical/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, retirement plan with employer match, paid time off, and paid holidays. A high school diploma and forklift experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year forklift experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control equipment to adjust chemical changes and reactions during production.
• Review formulation orders for accuracy when receiving and after completion; ensure quality per production standards.
• Monitor blenders and batches to run efficiently and on schedule.
• Produce fertilizer batches in a mixing blender.
• Load, unload, and operate pumps, valves, and related equipment.
• Open/close valves and handle rail car loading as required.
• Work from heights and perform other duties as assigned.
