Your role at Clorox:

The Process Operator will work in a dynamic, team-based environment with the responsibility to safely produce high-quality cat litter efficiently and cost-effectively. Key tasks include operating and maintaining process equipment, monitoring controls and instrumentation, performing quality checks, implementing improvements, and contributing to the plant's success.

The Process Operator owns all aspects of their area and equipment, including safety and quality improvements, machine setups, product changeovers, and meeting production and cost targets. The role requires autonomous work, collaboration across departments, participation in team activities, and adherence to all plant procedures and standards.

In this role, you will:
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents promptly.
  • Operate, monitor, and adjust equipment as needed.
  • Review system data, create reports, and analyze root causes.
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
  • Use technology to stay informed, such as reviewing emails and production schedules.
  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment within your training scope.
  • Maintain workplace organization and complete housekeeping tasks.
  • Support training of new operators and create training documentation.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance.
  • Assist with inventory management and participate in counts.

Hourly Compensation: $24.20/hour plus $1.05 shift differential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unload and transport raw materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Operate machinery, regulate flow, speed, or temperature.
  • Handle malfunctions, clear jams, and report issues.
  • Conduct quality checks and sample testing.
  • Ensure proper stocking and sorting of products.
  • Inspect products for quality, removing defective items.
  • Support other operational duties as needed.
Working Conditions:

The role involves exposure to dust, noise, moving equipment, and odors, standing and walking for long hours, and wearing protective gear. Conditions may include working at heights, outdoors, and handling hot or cold environments.
