Job summary

PepsiCo seeks to fill a full-time role in Columbia, MO, operating on a 4x4 schedule (7 pm – 7:30 am) at 4501 Paris Rd. The position involves monitoring process equipment, collecting plant data, and performing routine maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor process equipment and conditions using control systems (e.g., levels, temperatures, pressures, flow).
• Collect and report plant measurements related to performance, asset utilization, quality and costs.
• Perform analytical checks and adjust control systems based on data.
• Determine root causes of deviations using troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Perform equipment troubleshooting, routine repairs, improvements and preventative maintenance.

Job description

Location: 4501 Paris Rd, Columbia, MO 65202-6736

Pay: $27.02 per hour

Schedule: AWS 4X4 days on, 4 days off, 7 pm - 7:30 am

Minimum Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years of age or older
• You will be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift
• You are able to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist (e.g. a twin-size mattress) with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You are able to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You are able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You are able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You are willing and able to work at heights using ladders or lifts to access areas of the plant

What You’ll Do

• Monitoring process equipment and conditions using process control and process information systems (e.g., process levels, temperatures, pressures and flow rates)
• Collecting and reporting plant measurements related to performance, asset utilization, quality, and costs yields
• Performing analytical checks, adjusting control systems, and manually operated equipment based on process and lab data
• Determining root causes of deviations in process, product or equipment performance through use of troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis
• Performing process equipment troubleshooting, routine equipment repairs, improvements and preventative maintenance
