M2X Energy in Bartow, FL is seeking a Process Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain its biogas-to-methanol production systems. You will be the primary site contact, coordinating with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure safe operations, accurate data collection, and high equipment uptime in a fast-moving field environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent applied training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial technology.
• 2+ years operating or maintaining industrial or laboratory test equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand/power tools and diagnostic instruments.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills and familiarity with sensors and control systems.
• Familiarity with HMI system operations and data analysis using MS Office.

Role: The Process Operator will operate, monitor, and maintain M2X’s biogas to methanol production systems. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for the operating facility, acting as the liaison between M2X and external stakeholders. This position will support engineering development, site acceptance testing (SAT), and field commissioning of modular, mobile biofuel plants. The operator will work closely with the Engineering and Manufacturing Teams to ensure accurate data collection, safe operations, and high equipment uptime. A strong candidate will have hands‑on mechanical and electrical skills, familiarity with instrumentation and data acquisition, and the ability to work in a fast‑moving, field‑oriented environment.

Specific responsibilities may include:

• Maximize equipment uptime through proactive monitoring and maintenance
• Provide clear daily reports on operating status, findings, and issues to broader team
• Operate industrialsystems;handle methanol storage and transfer to offtake partners
• Read and understandoperatingproceduresand providecomment
• Collect and log data and verify equipment performance
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs onsystems
• Assistengineers withSite Acceptance Testing(SAT)and system commissioning
• Maintain organized records of test results, calibration certs, and maintenance logs
• Support installation and removal of test equipment at field sites
• Ensure compliance with company safety protocols and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for specialized equipment support
• Manage inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumablesrequiredforoperation

Qualifications:

• Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent applied training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial technology
• 2+ years of experienceoperatingor maintaining industrial or laboratory test equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand/power tools and diagnostic instruments
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills and familiarity with sensors and control systems
• Familiarity with Human Machine Interface (HMI) system operations
• Proficiencywith Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams) and basic data analysis
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
• Ability to lift 50lbs.and work in outdoor or industrial environments as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in industrial testing, process operations, or field service
• Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, or other industrial control system
• Experience with biofuel, chemical, or renewable energy process equipment
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and hazardous-materials handling
• Track recordof effective collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

$28-36/hour (based on experience)

Job Type : Full-time,On-site.Travelup to 50%
