Brown and Caldwell invites a Process Mechanical Designer to join our team, working with senior designers on multi-discipline projects in water and wastewater facilities. You will develop process mechanical piping designs and equipment layouts using Revit and AutoCAD, coordinating P&IDs and piping specs.
You will engage in cross-discipline model coordination, produce detailed drawings, manage valve and equipment scheduling, and grow with formal training and on-the-job education.
Brown and Caldwell (BC) has an exciting opportunity for a Process Mechanical Designer to join our team. You will work directly with senior process mechanical designers on multi-discipline designs for facilities primarily serving the water and wastewater industries.
The Process Mechanical Designer role will assist in developing process mechanical piping designs and equipment layouts using Revit and AutoCAD. The role will coordinate P&IDs and piping specifications, ensuring that designs are accurate and meet project requirements. The position will involve cross-discipline model coordination and clash resolution, ensuring that designs are integrated seamlessly. The role will develop process mechanical and piping drawings, ensuring they meet the required level of detail at project design gates and milestones. Additionally, the position will be responsible for valve and equipment scheduling, ensuring all components are accurately documented and scheduled.
The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Location A: $28.30 - $38.00
Location B: $30.70 - $41.90
Location C: $33.60 - $45.70
