Job summary

Lincotek-Group is seeking a Process Manufacturing Technician to provide first-level process support on the manufacturing floor. The role executes established production processes, assists with qualification activity, and helps maintain stable performance while collecting KPI data.

You will support Process Engineers by following documented processes, reporting observations, and implementing approved program changes. Safety and organized work areas are essential for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary first-level technical support resource for production cells, addressing shop-floor issues.
• Lead training for new operators on equipment operations, work instructions, and defect documentation.
• Follow parts through the production process to document data, identify issues, and communicate findings.
• Execute established process instructions, sheets, SOPs, and other approved production docs.
• Provide feedback to engineering when documentation or tooling requires review.
• Perform machine setup verification, tooling checks, masking checks, and readiness activities.
• Operate equipment to evaluate tools, masking, setup, and program modifications.
• Create, modify, and support routine recovery programs for day-to-day production recovery.
• Modify existing programs within approved boundaries without new validation.
• Assist with qualification runs by preparing equipment and collecting KPI data.
• Use measurement devices to collect and verify process or part data.
• Support KPI data collection and reporting, including weekly and monthly KPIs.
• Instruct manufacturing personnel on job setup requirements to ensure stable production.
• Escalate complex issues or validation decisions to the Process Engineer.
• Manage assigned tasks and projects to meet company needs and deadlines.
• Maintain a neat and organized work area.
• Observe all safety rules and act responsibly for safety of others.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job description

This position collaborates with Engineering and Production to provide first-level process support on the manufacturing floor. The Process Manufacturing Technician executes and supports established production processes, maintains stable production performance, assists with qualification activity, troubleshoots day-to-day process issues, collects and reports process data, and implements approved program, tooling, masking, and setup modifications. The role supports Process Engineers by executing documented processes and providing practical feedback; Process Engineers remain responsible for process development, advanced programming, validation, approval, and technical decisions.

Essential Functions

1. 1.Serve as the primary first-level technical support resource for production cells, responding quickly to shop-floor issues and supporting operators during daily production.
2. 2.Take the lead on ensuring new operators are trained thoroughly on all the technical aspects of operating the equipment they have been assigned to along with how to properly access work instructions and document defects.
3. 3.Follow parts through the production process to document process data, identify issues, troubleshoot abnormalities, and communicate findings to Engineering and Production.
4. 4.Execute established process instructions, parameter sheets, component forms, SOPs, work instructions, and other approved production documentation.
5. 5.Provide feedback to Process or Product Engineering when documentation, process instructions, tooling, masking, or setup practices require review or improvement.
6. 6.Perform machine setup verification, tooling checks, masking checks, equipment setup support, and process readiness activities prior to production or qualification runs.
7. 7.Operate equipment as needed to evaluate approved tooling, masking, setup, and program modifications.
8. 8.Create, modify, and support routine recovery programs using its applicable software for day-to-day production recovery needs.
9. 9.Perform existing program modifications in applicable software when changes are within approved process boundaries and do not require new process definition or validation.
10. 10.Assist with qualification runs by preparing equipment, verifying setup, executing runs, collecting process data (KPI’s), and reporting observations to the assigned Process Engineer.
11. 11.Use GOM/Blue Light Scan and other measuring devices to collect and verify process or part data as required.
12. 12.Support KPI data collection and reporting activities, including weekly KPI data and monthly KPI reporting as assigned.
13. 13.Instruct and assist manufacturing personnel with specific job setup requirements to facilitate stable production.
14. 14.Escalate complex technical issues, root cause analysis needs, process changes, parameter changes, cross-qualification needs, or validation decisions to the Process Engineer.
15. 15.Manage assigned tasks and projects to meet company needs and deadlines.
16. 16.Maintain a neat and organized work area.
17. 17.Observe all safety rules and regulations. Must act safely and be responsible for the safety of others around the work area.
