The Green Recruitment Company is partnering with an innovative clean energy technology business to appoint a Process Manager based in Alabama. This is a key role supporting the optimisation and scale‑up of industrial processes within a fast‑growing manufacturing and energy environment.

The Opportunity

This position sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, and continuous improvement, ensuring that production processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business growth.

You will play a critical role in supporting the transition from development to full‑scale production, driving process stability, performance, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the optimisation of manufacturing and production processes
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce cost
• Monitor and analyse process performance, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions
• Support the scale‑up of new technologies and production lines
• Work cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, and quality teams
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related discipline
• Proven experience in a Process Engineer / Process Manager role within manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong understanding of process optimisation, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement
• Experience within energy, clean technology, or advanced manufacturing highly desirable
• Hands‑on problem solver with strong analytical capability
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
