Job summary

Insight Global in Boise, Idaho is seeking a hands-on technical manager to lead a team of 3–5 Process Engineers, setting objectives, guiding staff, and providing technical leadership around semiconductor process equipment.

This role requires close collaboration with the engineering team, customer-site management, and the Japan-based parent company, including late-night meetings with Japan. The position balances technical leadership with strong customer service and people management.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in semiconductor process engineering
• Experience with ALD, CVD, diffusion or furnace processes
• Hands-on, customer-facing with strong communication
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing (memory, NAND, DRAM, logic)
• Leadership experience managing engineers
• DOE and data analysis experience
• On-site Boise collaboration with Japan team
• Experience with equipment suppliers (AMAT/TEL/Lam/ASM)

Insight Global is looking for a hands‑on technical manager to lead an existing team of approximately 3-5 Process Engineers. This person will set objectives, steer employees, manage customer relationships, and provide technical leadership around semiconductor process equipment.

This is not a clean‑room‑heavy individual contributor role. The manager will work closely with the engineering team, customer‑site management, and the parent company in Japan. The position includes late‑night meetings with Japan and requires someone who can balance technical knowledge, customer service, and people leadership.
