The role leads technicians and specialists, oversees maintenance programs, and drives process improvements to boost equipment reliability and uptime. The position requires 2 years of leadership experience, an associate degree in engineering technology (BS preferred), and strong skills in Excel, Word, Access, and maintenance software.

Qualifications

• Two-year Associate degree in engineering technology or equivalent experience.
• Two years of leadership experience.
• Five years of manufacturing-related technical experience with equipment maintenance knowledge.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to follow detailed technical instructions.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Access and maintenance software.
• Strong writing, documentation and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Define performance standards and set targets for technicians and specialists.
• Assign duties and oversee training needs.
• Troubleshoot processes, equipment and systems; document failures.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance for production equipment.
• Evaluate equipment and software; lead continuous improvement.
• Create, update, and maintain department work instructions.
• Work within safety and quality standards.
