Gopuff is seeking a Process Lead for our Operations team. Reporting to the Site Leader or Manager, this role is a core part of the leadership team with the responsibility to ensure order accuracy and fast, efficient delivery to our customers. During your shift, you will lead the performance and day-to-day tasks of both the Pack and Receive and Kitchen teams. The success of the team will rely on your ability to coach and motivate the team with a focus on perfecting the customer experience for each order. We put our customers first.

Customers turn to Gopuff to deliver their everyday essentials—day and night, rain or shine. We're assembling a team of thinkers, dreamers, and risk takers who are ready to help us reshape the world of retail faster than ever before. And it doesn't hurt if you like snacks.

Responsibilities:
  1. Pack orders and receive inbound inventory during low volume / minimal staffed periods.
  2. Complete ICQA during low volume / minimal staffed periods.
  3. Support the associate team in covering shift gaps, which may include using carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment to move products.
  4. Coordinate and direct all associate activities during the shift.
  5. Escalate site issues in real-time to Site Leadership, Regional Leadership, and Live Monitoring for assistance.
  6. Ensure completion of close/open checklists for the OA team.
  7. Oversee execution of all facility operations and delivery processes for your shift, ensuring subsequent shifts are set up for success.
  8. Develop and train new associates within the site and kitchen (if applicable), especially when Site Leadership cannot be on shift.
  9. Manually intervene in driver routing and dispatching.
  10. Manage shelf move activities for reorganization and backstock.
  11. Execute site-specific projects or initiatives, including audit counts, new hire onboarding, food safety, and cleanliness audits.
  12. Conduct damage and expiry process audits.
  13. Assist in meeting performance objectives such as labor management, order volume, pack times, mispack rates, inventory accuracy, and bottleneck resolution.
  14. Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis for defects within shift.
  15. Perform physical activities such as standing, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, and walking during shifts.
  16. Handle products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol.
  17. Work periodically in freezer locations during shifts.
  18. Complete additional duties as assigned based on business needs.
Qualifications:
  1. At least 2 years of internal Gopuff experience.
  2. Over 2 years of leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant, or equivalent.
  3. Over 1 year of experience in process improvement and efficiency; ServeSafe Certification is highly preferred.
  4. Ability to work with flexible schedules, especially during peak hours (5pm - 3am), including weekends.
  5. Team-oriented mentality.
  6. Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk during shifts.
  7. Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
