MonoSol, LLC in La Porte, IN is hiring an Instrumentation Engineer to design, develop, install, and maintain instrumentation and control systems across manufacturing facilities. You will work with Production, Process Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Controls teams to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field and has 3–5 years of experience in instrumentation or automation within manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, instrumentation, automation, or related field.
• 3–5 years in instrumentation or automation engineering in manufacturing.
• Foundational knowledge of process control systems and instrumentation.
• Experience coordinating projects with cross-functional teams.
• Preferred knowledge of Rockwell Automation and Wonderware HMI.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain instrumentation and control systems.
• Measure process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow.
• Test, calibrate, and optimize instrumentation for reliability.
• Collaborate with Production, Process, Controls, Maintenance, and Quality teams.
• Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance of new equipment.
• Analyze data to identify performance improvements.
