Precision Castparts Corp. in Massachusetts is seeking a skilled grinder inspector to visually examine in-process forgings, identify surface defects, and perform grinding operations with air, hi-cycle and swing frame grinders.
You will blend repaired areas, record quality data, coordinate with supervision, and maintain a clean, safe work area while handling heavy forgings and operating cranes as needed.
This position is responsible for visually inspecting in-process forgings to detect surface defects. Remove these defects with air grinder, hi-cycle grinder, and swing frame grinder. Operate blast, ceramic and machines.
Requires training to be able to operate hand grinders and blasting equipment. Must be able to recognize a wide variety of surface defects and to select proper tool to remove defect.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $24.19 to $32.03 US Dollar (USD) hourly based on a variety of factors . Employees will receive 40 hours paid time off every year.
