Fair-Rite Products Corp. in Wallkill, NY is seeking an Industrial Engineering Technician to support manufacturing operations through process improvement, production analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and implement new manufacturing solutions across the plant.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Industrial Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related technical field, plus at least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field with relevant manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, time studies, and process improvement techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production data and manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and line-balancing projects.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing data, routings, labor standards, and process documentation.
• Prepare cost estimate worksheets and support quotations.
• Process Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs) and related manufacturing documentation.
• Support manufacturing layouts, workstation design, and ergonomic improvements.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects that enhance productivity, quality, safety, and cost performance.
• Collaborate across departments to solve manufacturing challenges and implement effective solutions.
