Job summary

Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. in Center Valley, PA seeks a Continuous Improvement professional to propel the Global Process Improvement program.

You will partner with corporate operations leaders to identify opportunities, drive process enhancements, and coach teams in Lean Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and raise operational effectiveness. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00.
• 3+ years of professional experience with 1+ years’ experience in a Continuous Improvement role.
• Lean/Six Sigma: Certified Black Belt or Master Black Belt preferred.
• Kaizen and Change Management experience required or preferred.
• Project management experience including overseeing project teams, budgets, scheduling, and planning.
• Proven success leading improvement projects and developing improvement resources.
• Ability to teach and coach foundational Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive the adoption of Lutron Production System (LPS) pillars: standard work, visual management / daily management strategies, 5S, process auditing, and problem solving at all levels of the organization.
• Collaborate with other Continuous Improvement Champions to support cross-functional initiatives and methods for project execution and measurement.
• Develop sustainable improvement capabilities at Lutron through coaching and education.
• Drive adoption of tools and methods by reinforcing their value proposition.
• Assist leadership team with establishing improvement goals, prioritizing improvement projects, and allocating associated resources.
• Develop and maintain improvement plans spanning Purchasing, Materials Management, Planning, Logistics, etc.
• Prepare and present improvement proposals to leadership including cost benefit analysis and risk mitigation.
• Lead improvement initiatives through measurement, accountability, analysis, and discussion of alternatives.
• Develop communications to convey positive impact of improvement initiatives in financial and performance terms.
• Manage execution against program milestones, inter-dependencies, risk, progress communication, and cross-team collaboration.
• Assist with change management activities required to implement new processes and systems.

• Manage execution against critical program milestones, inter-dependencies, risk components, progress communication, coordination, and collaboration across teams and commitments
• Assist with change management activities required to implement new processes and systems

Qualifications

• Experience with the following tools and processes:
  • Lean/Six Sigma: Certified Black Belt or Master Black Belt preferred
  • Kaizen
  • Change Management
• Project management experience including overseeing project teams, identifying resources, developing budgets, scheduling, and planning
• Proven success leading improvement projects and developing improvement resources
• Ability to teach and coach foundational Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies aligned with Lean Six Sigma principles
• Must be located within commutable distance of Center Valley, PA to accommodate in-office schedule
