Salary: $85K Base Salary and UP - Plus aYearly Bonus

Our client, a premier consumer product goods manufacturing company with products sold nationwide, is seeking an experienced Process Improvement Industrial Engineer.

The right candidate will be focused on improving & revising the various processes to allow the manufacturing plant work more efficiently to help reduce costs. Lead projects and provide reports and data to upper management. Conduct various tests to facilitate the most efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement manufacturing improvement projects.
• Provide technical support to the production manufacturing process.
• Design safety and quality enhancements.
• Develop and improve process documentation.
• Drive out defects in the process and enhance overall productivity, safety and quality by collaborating with production teams and leadership.

Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree (Industrial Engineering, Mechanical or Manufacturing Degree).
• 2 + Years’ experience from an industrial manufacturing production plant making Process Improvements.
• Ability to direct and guide efforts of various shift staff members.
• Project management skills and time study experience.
• Technical problem-solving ability with speeds & measurements.
• Experience directing contractors / vendors.
• ERP tool familiarity (such as SAP, Oracle or JD Edwards) Enterprise Resource
• Applicable AutoCAD skills.
• Initiative to learn new technology.
• Good inter-personal skills and ability to teach and lead others.
• Ability to work off shift or weekends as needed.
• Strong PC skills including MS Office suite.
• Ability to work in a temperature-controlled work environment.
• English / Spanish bilingual a plus (but not a requirement).
• Must be currently authorized to work in the USA without the need for a visa sponsorship now or in the future.
