Job summary

FC Industries, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to lead continuous improvement across manufacturing operations in Dayton, OH. You will drive productivity, reduce waste, and apply Lean principles to support operational excellence.

The role involves leading Kaizen events, mapping value streams, reducing changeovers with SMED, and boosting OEE while collaborating with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams. A strong floor presence and TPM experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing process improvement experience.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, and TPM.
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain Value Stream Maps using Value Stream Mapping.
• Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities.
• Reduce changeover times utilizing SMED methodologies.
• Develop a system to capture, educate operators to record/reduce Scrap.
• Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Facilitate root cause analysis investigations.
• Develop and implement standard work procedures.
• Partner with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams.
• Track and report KPI improvements.
• Train employees on Lean tools and methodologies.
• Maintain a strong floor presence.
• Experience in TPM and reliability programs related to maintenance PM's.
