Job summary

Acoufelt, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Continuous Improvement Coordinator to support lean initiatives across our operations. Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will work cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and other teams to identify root causes, improve processes, and implement sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, engineering support, quality, supply chain, continuous improvement, or a related environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and identify root causes.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies across manufacturing documentation and system data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data organization and analysis.
• Experience with ERP/MRP, BOMs, routings, and manufacturing data is preferred.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, standard work, and problem-solving methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Investigate recurring manufacturing and operational issues and identify root causes.
• Analyze production, quality, inventory, workflow, and other data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Review Bills of Materials, routings, and system data to find inaccuracies contributing to downstream problems.
• Map and review processes to understand how information and materials move through the business.
• Observe processes on the shop floor to validate potential causes of problems.
• Coordinate corrective actions and improvement projects from definition to verification.
• Develop and own action plans with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
• Create reports and summaries to communicate findings and support decisions.
• Track actions and measure if changes deliver expected results.
• Help standardize improvements through updated documentation and standard work.
