Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of accounting processes and financial data flow within organizations.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with finance and cross-functional teams.
  • Comfort working onsite four days per week and contributing actively to a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing accounting and finance processes to identify opportunities for standardization, improvement, and increased efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements, challenges, and areas for process enhancement.
  • Support initiatives involving system workflows, process redesign, automation, and system enhancements.
  • Assist with the implementation, testing, and ongoing optimization of financial systems and ERP solutions.
  • Participate in gathering requirements, creating process maps, documenting procedures, testing, and executing implementations.
  • Analyze financial data to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for better controls and streamlined workflows.
  • Support user acceptance testing to ensure new processes and system functionalities align with business needs.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to processes, procedures, workflows, and transformation projects.
  • Track project activities, communicate progress, and address issues or dependencies with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to change management efforts and facilitate adoption of new financial tools and processes.
  • Take ownership of initiatives, ensuring timely progress within a lean and dynamic team environment.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships across the organization to promote a collaborative culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Background in financial transformation, finance systems implementation, or continuous process improvement environments.
