Job summary

ABB is seeking an operation professional to run process equipment and machine systems to convert raw materials or semi-finished parts into components or finished parts for a final product. You will work to ensure the right timing and required quality, following established workflows and ABB safety guidelines.

You will perform routine machine set-ups, adjustments, and repairs, conduct standard maintenance, and keep detailed records.

Responsibilities

• Executes the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance.
• Operates machines in accordance with the operating manual, work schedule, and/or production order instructions.
• Performs routine machinery set-up, adjustments, and repairs and fits simple replacement parts.
• Ensures regular standard maintenance of the equipment, tools set-up, programming activities, and troubleshoots and reports issues, if any.
• Ensures the availability of required materials to execute the assigned work according to the defined workflow.
• Maintains a safe working attitude and environment while performing daily activities.
• Maintains detailed records of machinery set-ups, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Keeps track of approved, defective units, and final products.
