Job summary

Freudenberg Group, a leader in engineered solutions, is seeking a Production Process Support specialist in the Findlay, OH area. You will partner with process engineers to optimize manufacturing operations and ensure adherence to specifications, while participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

The role centers on collecting and analyzing process data, creating clear documentation, and tuning production parameters on the floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years in manufacturing/technical support.
• Ability to read technical docs, drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn ERP/MES systems.

Responsibilities

• Support process engineers in development, implementation, and improvement of manufacturing processes.
• Set up, monitor, adjust production processes, parameters, and equipment to meet specifications.
• Collect, analyze, and document process data (cycle times, scrap, yield, downtime).
• Assist with root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
• Support new product introductions, trials, and process validations.
• Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, SOPs, and visual standards.
• Perform time studies, capability studies, and basic statistical analysis.
• Support equipment setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting on the production floor.

• Set up, monitor, and adjust production processes, parameters, and equipment to meet specifications
• Collect, analyze, and document process data (cycle times, scrap, yield, downtime, etc.)
• Assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
• Support new product introductions, trials, and process validations
• Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, SOPs, and visual standards
• Perform time studies, capability studies, and basic statistical analysis
• Support equipment setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting on the production floor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or technical training in engineering, manufacturing technology, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or technical support role
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production equipment
• Ability to read and follow technical documentation, drawings, and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn ERP/MES systems

65,000 - 75,000 Compensation for this position will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications, experience, education, and overall alignment with the role’s responsibilities.
