Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer Technician at the Niagara Falls, NY site.

The role focuses on designing resistor layouts with AutoCAD, supporting engineering in product performance and yield improvements, and revising designs per customer specifications. You will generate laser trim data, test programs, and inspection worksheets for new specs while collaborating in design reviews to plan loading schedules.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Applied Science or related discipline.
• 2-4 years of related Engineering experience is preferred.
• Fluent in use of AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Using AutoCAD, develop and prepare new resistor layouts and detailed package drawings of Thin Film Passive Devices from schematics and related geometry provided by customers.
• Provide design support for engineering team in several phases of product performance and/or yield improvements and new product development.
• Revise existing VTF designs as required by customer specification revisions.
• Generate laser trim data files, test programs, and First Article Inspection worksheets for new specifications.
• Participate in design review to determine the schedule for the design loading capabilities.

Process Engineer Technician

Job Location: Vishay Thin Film is located in Niagara Falls, NY. The site has a lot of natural beauty to offer including the world-famous Niagara Falls which are just a short drive away!

What You Will Be Doing

• Using AutoCAD, develop and prepare new resistor layouts and detailed package drawings of Thin Film Passive Devices from schematics and related geometry provided by customers
• Provide design support for engineering team in several phases of product performance and/or yield improvements and new product development

What You Will Bring Along

Pay Range: $24-26 per hour
