Current advancements are underway in autonomous movement and mobility, artificial intelligence and machine learning, manipulation, simulation, robotic management software, predictive analytics, and much more. The Amazon Robotics (AR) Robotics Manufacturing and Technical Operations (RMTO) organization manufactures high-quality robotics and gets the right materials to the right place at the right time to enable our automated solutions.

Key job responsibilities
  • Actively support and foster a culture of inclusion.
  • Coach and mentor a team that owns process development and optimization for new products.

A day in the life

You will balance hands-on technical judgment with team leadership, questioning proposals and assumptions when you are involved while empowering your engineers to own their systems end-to-end. You will drive mindful discussions that lead to clear decisions, structure projects to reduce exposure to classic failure modes (unclear requirements, ineffective collaboration, insufficient testing), and recommend reviews with Senior/Principal Engineers when solutions risk adding complexity or impairing future innovation. When views diverge, you will find the best path forward and build consensus around it.
