Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Process Engineering Manager to lead our industrial engineering team and drive operational excellence. This role is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing engineering strategies and systems to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize processes across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with leadership capabilities and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Industrial Engineering team to meet departmental goals and project deadlines.
  • Analyze production processes, workflows, and systems to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reduction.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), work measurement systems, and time studies.
  • Lead lean manufacturing initiatives, Six Sigma projects, and other continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain to drive productivity.
  • Oversee capacity planning, layout design, and resource allocation for current and future operations.
  • Evaluate and implement automation and new technology to enhance operational performance.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operational efficiency and project outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Train and mentor engineering staff, fostering a culture of innovation and teamwork.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or simulation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Experience in ERP systems and data analytics.
  • Background in manufacturing.
