Crane Currency is offering a paid internship in Dalton, Massachusetts, within the Process Engineering department. The role is onsite and targets a college student ready to apply engineering education to real-world manufacturing challenges.

Qualifications

• One year of college completed; higher preference to rising Juniors or Seniors.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with suitability for government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Support process engineering initiatives including process optimization and yield improvements.
• Participate in manufacturing trials, security feature development, statistical analysis, investigations, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Contribute to productivity, quality, and process capability improvements through project work.

Crane Currency has a 2027 opportunity for a college student to gain hands‑on experience in our Process Engineering department. This role is onsite and is based out of Dalton, Massachusetts.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

• You must currently be enrolled at an accredited institution and pursuing a degree in Engineering, Sciences, or Manufacturing. Chemical Engineering major preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, analytical/problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills.
• Self‑motivated, independent, detail‑oriented, responsible team‑player.
• Able to work in a fast‑paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
• Candidate has completed at least one full year of college or university studies; higher preference to rising Juniors or Seniors.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an ability to demonstrate and maintain suitability for employment in a position of Public Trust consistent with our US Government contract requirements.
