Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Process Engineer Co-op to work with a team of engineers on design projects. The role involves preparing drawings, calculations, and deliverables, interfacing with other disciplines to deliver cohesive engineering packages to clients.

The position emphasizes collaboration across Nexus, clients, and internal teams, with responsibilities including P&ID/PFD development and assisting senior engineers. Software experience with Aspen/HYSYS/ChemCAD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from a four-year program.
• Ability to work within diverse teams including Nexus, clients, and others.
• Effective communication skills to convey ideas clearly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word); willingness to receive feedback to improve performance.
• Experience with Aspen, HYSYS, ChemCAD or similar process modeling software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete calculations of limited complexity with supervision as needed; may include hydraulics, relief devices, and equipment sizing.
• Develop and maintain P&IDs and PFDs.
• Assist experienced Process Engineers with their activities as requested.
