Job summary

Hargrove and Associates, Inc is seeking a junior engineer-in-training to assist with routine engineering tasks under direct supervision. You will become familiar with design and drafting standards and help produce calculations, spreadsheets, drawings, and sketches for various projects.

The role supports developing preliminary designs and material take-offs, contributing to safety, cost, and schedule objectives while learning from experienced engineers and designers within a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Biochemical Engineering is required.
• GPA of 2.7 or above.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine engineering tasks of less complex assignments under direct supervision.
• Become familiar with engineering design and drafting standards.
• Assist in producing detail design calculations, spreadsheets, reports, drawings and sketches.
• Assist in developing conceptual process engineering designs and studies to determine simplest, most efficient approach to problems.
• Assist in producing estimate level preliminary designs and material take-offs.
• Support engineers and designers to meet safety, cost, schedule and quality goals.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Biochemical Engineering (enrolled)

GPA 2.7 or above
