Job summary

Liquid Environmental Solutions in Houston is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize plant performance across our nationwide Treatment & Recovery facilities. You will work with Plant Managers and Operators to identify root causes of process and compliance issues and implement corrective actions.

The role emphasizes hands-on process design, data analysis, and on-site commissioning, with up to 50% travel. A BS in Chemical or Wastewater Engineering is required, plus 3–5 years in industrial

Willingness to travel up to 50% nationwide to Treatment & Recovery facilities.
Regulatory knowledge related to industrial wastewater discharge permits and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead process design, optimization, and troubleshooting for FOG, industrial separation systems, and related wastewater treatment units to standardize operations across sites.
Collect and analyze operational data (flows, temperatures, pressures, separation efficiency) to identify improvement opportunities.
Assist with commissioning and start-up activities at new or upgraded treatment sites.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company guidelines across sites; support decision-making and reporting.
