Job summary

Liquid Environmental Solutions is seeking a Treatment & Recovery Process Engineer in Houston to drive process improvements, enhance regulatory compliance, and lead by example in the field with operators.

You will design, optimize, and troubleshoot industrial wastewater treatment units, monitor performance data, and collaborate with EH&S, operations, and compliance teams to sustain safe, reliable, and cost-efficient site operations across the network.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
3 - 5 years of Industrial Process Engineering.
Process operations experience desired.
Engineering Management Experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

Lead and support process design, optimization, and troubleshooting for FOG, industrial separation systems, and related wastewater treatment units to strengthen operational consistency across sites.
Collect and analyze operational data (flows, temperatures, pressures, separation efficiency, etc.) to identify and drive process improvement opportunities.
Assist with commissioning and start-up activities at new or upgraded treatment sites.
Support T&R’s Capital Plan, providing process evaluation and expertise to support developing project scope for the T&R facilities.
Monitor and assess treatment system performance for Permit Compliance; identify and implement process improvements that close compliance gaps, reduce risk, and capture cost savings.
Ensure process documentation is accurate and updated across sites to support compliance and audit readiness.
