Job summary

Aalberts Surface Technologies AB Inc in the United States is seeking a Process Engineer to lead the technical aspects of vacuum brazing, assembly, and prep. This role requires hands-on development of processes and close collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

You will drive productivity improvements using LEAN techniques, participate in contract reviews, and ensure documentation, quality systems, and process specifications meet ITAR requirements.

Qualifications

• . Degree in engineering or relevant field; 5-7 years in Heat Treating, Brazing Operation or Manufacturing environment; Manufacturing technology degree or certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for process development and production.
• Initial contact with customers from inquiry through to delivery requiring technical assistance with repair development and new products/processes.
• Identify productivity/cost savings using LEAN techniques.
• First level Contract Review approval.
• Responsible for overall operation of the technical aspects of projects.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and suppliers on fixtures, components and work scopes.
• Collaborate with customers, internal departments, and support staff to accomplish goals.
• Ensure process documentation is clear, accurate and up to date.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
