Job summary

Giti Tire Mfg. in Richburg, SC, is seeking a Process Engineer to support and improve tire manufacturing processes. You will focus on process optimization, quality improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency for mass-produced products.

You will work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to identify issues, implement sustainable solutions, and train operators. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering, internship experience, and strong data analysis and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of one engineering internship or relevant co-op experience.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work on cross-functional teams on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze process performance metrics to improve productivity, quality, and scrap reduction.
• Develop and maintain PFMEA documentation.
• Create and update SOPs and process documentation.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process, production, and quality issues.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Train production associates on process improvements.
