• Respond to data on process control charts and maintain spreadsheets; report results.
• Run tests through the production line or assist engineers with evaluation for scaling.
• Examine products under magnification using a microscope.
• Be responsible for all processes within manufacturing and support engineers.
• Perform process control activities such as measurement and testing.
• Follow all safety measures.

Position Summary:

The Process Engineering Technician provides technical support and sustaining engineering in a product manufacturing area. Planning and directing implementation of equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques and production yields for existing products. Acting as engineering liaison with product design and development to ensure processes and designs are compatible.

• Responsible for assuring manufacturing process is running per procedure or conducting engineering tests
• Monitors manufacturing process or performs failure analysis for engineering or quality
• Takes measurements for process control or gathers measurement data for engineering
• Re-writes documentation to update new practices or writes and prepares reports for engineering or quality
• Responds to data on process control charts or maintains material movement spreadsheets and reports results
• Runs tests through production process line or assists process engineer with evaluating for rescaling
• Examine product under magnification using micro-scope equipment
• Responsible for all processes within manufacturing and/or support the efforts of engineers
• Perform process control activities such as measuring product or performing tests
• Follow all safety measures.
