Job summary

Ashland is seeking a Process Engineer to join our Specialty Ingredients team at the Calvert City, KY site. This is a high‑visibility role within Plant Engineering and Operations, reporting to the Process Technology Group Leader.

You will investigate issues, optimize processes, and implement improvements. The ideal candidate holds a BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and has 6+ years of chemical plant manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related Technology/Engineering field.
• 6+ years of chemical plant manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow site's Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Investigate, discuss, and solve complex problems by interacting with manufacturing departments, contractors, and internal customers.
• Help further company culture of implementing new solutions and continually improve existing processes.
• Evaluate current systems and modify as appropriate to improve performance.
