Job summary

Nucor, the continent's largest steel and steel products manufacturer, seeks a Process Engineer to drive efficiency across its Raw Materials Group. You will lead process improvements, test new technologies, and collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to align recycled material output with mill needs.

Travel ranges 30-40%; safety, documentation, and KPI tracking are central. Requires a BS in Mechanical/Industrial/Metallurgical/Environmental Eng and 3 years' experience; Lean/Six Sigma

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgical, or Environmental Engineering (or related field).
3 years of relevant experience.
Hands-on operational experience in manufacturing, industrial or recycling/metals environments.

Responsibilities

Lead process improvements across multiple plants within Nucor Raw Materials Group.
Identify and implement equipment and technology improvements.
Design tests, track metrics, and maintain documentation for continuous operations.
