Job summary

The role involves hands-on plant work, design and testing of new processes, and collaboration with Advanced Technologies, Engineering, and Maintenance teams. Travel 30–40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Metallurgical, or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or metals.
• Hands-on operational experience in a plant environment preferred.
• Exposure to Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety policies and housekeeping across plants.
• Identify process improvements for shredders and metal recovery plants.
• Collaborate with engineering groups to implement new processes.
• Track performance metrics and maintain process documentation.
