A leading company in the aerospace sector is seeking a Process Engineer to develop and optimize machining processes. This role will involve programming CNC machines, ensuring product quality, and collaborating with engineers and machinists to meet production goals. Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering and have considerable experience with CNC programming and machining processes.
The Process Engineer reports directly to the Machine Shop Manager. Assumes responsibility for developing new part processes, optimizing processes for recurring jobs and contributing technical support to the Machine Shop Manager; this includes CAD, fixture design and tooling, programming and documentation of the process for set-up personnel and operators.
Other tasks and duties may be required as directed.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Proficient in the use of shop mathematics.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Occasional activities: Standing, walking, reaching with arms, lifting/pushing/pulling up to 25 lbs.
Rare activities: Climbing/balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting/pushing/pulling heavy weights (50-100+ lbs).
Frequent: Computer monitor use.
Occasional: Color vision, close vision, peripheral vision, ability to adjust focus, distance vision, depth perception.
Occasional Exposure: Mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic chemicals, very quiet to very loud noise.
Rare Exposure: High places, outdoor weather, risk of electrical shock, vibrations.

Actual base salary offered to the selected applicant will be based on their work location, qualifications, job related skills, relevant education, and training experience.
Base salary rate range Minimum $95000- Maximum $11400.
