Job summary

MegaFood is seeking an Industrial/Mechanical Engineer to optimize dosage-form processes and establish controls ensuring reliable, repeatable operations. You will leverage data to drive value, troubleshoot issues, and support change controls and inspections across site operations.

The role demands 1–3 years in manufacturing tech support or related fields, with a strong foundation in GMP, DOE/QbD concepts, and cross-functional collaboration to improve product quality and process efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or related field.
• 1-3 years related experience.
• Two years of industry experience in manufacturing technical support, process/product development, Quality Engineering and/or testing.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates subject matter expertise for assigned dosage form and influences groups to make improvements.
• Develops process understanding and controls for repeatability; optimizes product/process to maximize customer value.
• Uses problem-solving to identify root cause and implement corrective actions.
• Collects and analyzes data; recommends improvements to products and processes.
• Supports Quality and Operations through troubleshooting, change controls, and NCR reduction.
• Serves as technical approver for equipment change requests and IOQ documentation.
• Prepares and reviews technical docs: QCRs, NCRs, SOPs, MBRs, Change Controls, Verification/Validation Protocols.
• Leads cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing and packaging efficiency.
