Job description

Join to apply for the Process Engineer, MOCVD role at HieFo Corporation.

HieFo Corporation is seeking a Process Engineer to join our Alhambra office. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of development and manufacturing experience in III/V semiconductor MOCVD technology, including growth of InGaAsP quaternary materials and tuning of MQW structures.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field
• Experience with materials characterization techniques such as AES, SIMS, EDX, PL, ECV, XRD, SEM, TEM, AFM, I-V, and C-V measurements
• Strong ability to summarize and present results clearly
• Self-motivated team player

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain MOCVD reactors and assessment tools, overseeing operators and technicians
• Ensure quality of materials meets specifications and maintain safe operations
• Optimize and troubleshoot wafer processes for manufacturing semiconductor lasers
• Identify opportunities for yield, throughput, and cycle-time improvements
• Establish process controls through SPC
• Create documentation for ISO certification
• Write reports and present results internally and externally
• Perform maintenance activities on reactors, including replacement of components
